Privacy Policy — SNX Nails

SNX Nails (“we”, “us”) sells nail supplies from our Ahmedabad stores, from https://snxnails.com and in the SNX Nails mobile app. This page says what data we collect and which tools we use. We write it as a plain guide for our customers. It is not legal advice. We try to follow India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. What we collect
- Name, phone, email, billing and shipping address when you create an account or place an order.
- Order history and payment status.
- Messages you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
- Cookies and usage data: pages you visit, device and browser type, and app version or crash logs. We use cookies for login, cart, and visit statistics.
Payment is handled by Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking). We do not store full card numbers on our server.
2. Tools we use on the website
These tools run on our site. Some of them set cookies.
- Google Analytics 4, through Google Site Kit. It counts visits and shows us which pages people use. Google Search Console also shows us how people find the site.
- Meta (Facebook) pixel, through Meta for WooCommerce. It helps us measure our ads and show our ads on Meta apps. It can send Meta data about your visit, such as the pages you open and your cart actions.
- Google reviews widget (Trustindex). It shows our Google reviews on the site.
- WhatsApp chat. The chat button opens WhatsApp. WhatsApp then handles your messages under its own terms.
- Email tool (Hostinger Reach). We use it to send email.
- Hosting and cache. Hostinger hosts the site. LiteSpeed Cache keeps copies of pages to make them load faster.
- Razorpay for payments and Shiprocket and our courier partners for shipping.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site, such as the cart, may not work without them.
3. How we use your data
- To take and deliver orders.
- To show your cart, account and order status on the website and in the app.
- To send order updates by email, SMS or WhatsApp.
- To measure visits and ads, and to improve the shop and the app.
- To keep tax and legal records in India.
4. What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not store your full card number on our server.
The tools in section 2 receive some data as described there. They have their own privacy policies.
5. Nella, our AI helper
If you use the Nella chat, your question is sent to our AI provider (xAI) to write an answer. If you attach a photo, it is sent to the provider for that one answer only. We do not save your photo. We keep the text of questions for a short time to improve the helper. Do not type your address, phone number or payment details in the chat.
6. The SNX Nails mobile app
The app shows the same pages as the website. The website tools in section 2 can also work inside the app. The app also uses the items below.
- Notification ID. If you allow notifications, the app registers your phone with Google’s Firebase Cloud Messaging so we can send you offers and new-arrival alerts. This ID is not linked to your name, phone number or orders. You can turn notifications off in your phone settings at any time.
- Order lookup. If you use “Where is my order?”, the order number and phone number you type are sent securely to our shop to find your order. The app does not store them.
- Your cart. Items in your cart are kept on our shop’s server under a random cart code stored on your phone.
- Language choice. Your chosen language is saved on your phone.
- Payment. The app does not collect or store your card, UPI or bank details. Payment happens on our website checkout through Razorpay.
7. How long we keep data
We keep order and invoice data as long as needed for orders, accounting and legal reasons, as Indian tax law requires. Account data stays until you ask us to delete it, except records we must keep.
8. Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, correction of your data, or deletion of your account data. Write to us at the email below. Some order records cannot be deleted because of tax rules.
9. Children
The shop is for adults (18 years and older) and salon professionals. It is not for people under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Security
The site uses HTTPS. Payment data is handled by Razorpay. No method is perfect. Do not send card numbers on WhatsApp.
